Acupuncture for Uncomfortable in Changing Season

When Summer changes to Fall, you may feel "excessive internal heat"

——dry mouth, sore throat, mouth ulcers, tooth pain, constipation, and fever

"excessive internal heat" or “extra body heat" It is a concept in traditional Chinese medicine used to describe an imbalance or discomfort within the body, often associated with symptoms like dry mouth, sore throat, mouth ulcers, tooth pain, constipation, and fever.

When summer gets very hot, it makes our body hot and sweat, when fall comes, the air becomes cold and dry and it will make extra heat trapped in our body so we feel “excessive internal heat”

Try to eat more vegetables and fruits grown in the fall, like pumpkin, radish, apple, and pear (Greens start to turn Yellow and Red)

Fermented food is natural probiotics, it will help constipation in the fall.

Get some full-body massages to make your circulation better, so the energy or heat will be balanced.

If you feel more uncomfortable, like bad sore throat, mouth ulcers, or tooth pain, consult a doctor first then try some acupuncture. It may help a lot with all the symptoms.

Personally, I will describe feeling like a “deflated hot balloon” after an acupuncture treatment and relaxed. (But everyone may feel different).
